Micaela Miller is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, she has worked across both community mental health and private practice settings, supporting children, adolescents, and families with complex developmental, relational, and trauma-related needs.
She specializes in infant and early childhood mental health, attachment, and parent–child relationship work, viewing caregivers as the primary agents of change in a child’s healing. Micaela is the developer of the Integrative Developmental Parent–Child Systems Attachment (IDPSA) model, an approach that integrates attachment science, neuroscience, and evidence-based therapies to promote regulation, connection, and reflective growth.
Her work blends warmth with clinical precision and draws from EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, play therapy, Parent–Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), cognitive and behavioral approaches, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. Treatment is individualized, developmentally attuned, and grounded in co-regulation and secure attachment.
Micaela’s mission is to create safe, supportive spaces where children and families can strengthen relationships, build resilience, and grow together.
